Professor Nazrul Islam is Chair Professor of Business, Director of Research Degrees (PhD/MPhil), Associate Director of the Centre of FinTech and Director and Managing Lead for Industry and Web 5.0 Centre at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, University of East London (UEL), UK.
He holds a PhD in Innovation Management, and his research spans interdisciplinary fields including management of technology, technological transformation, digital and disruptive innovation, and the sustainability of SMEs. His scholarly work has been published in leading international journals and complemented by the authorship of four books.
Professor Islam’s research has received prestigious international recognition, including the Brad Hosler Award for Outstanding Paper (USA) and the Pratt & Whitney Canada Best Paper Award. Most notably, his pioneering work on innovation and AI has been recognized by The White House and was featured in the 2024 Economic Report of the President of the United States.
In addition to his research and academic leadership, Professor Islam serves on the Board of Directors for the Business and Applied Sciences Academy of North America (BAASANA). He holds several prominent editorial roles: Associate Editor for Technological Forecasting and Social Change; Department Editor (Technology Management) for IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management; Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Technology Intelligence and Planning. He also serves as Managing Guest Editor for special issues in high-impact journals, including Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, among others.

Breno Nunes

Dr Breno Nunes is currently Reader (Associate Professor) in Sustainable Operations Management at Aston Business School. Breno is also the President of IAMOT - The International Association for Management of Technology (www.iamot.net) - and associate editor for IEEE Engineering Management Review.
Breno is the main author of the book "Sustainable Operations Management: Key practices and cases" published by Routledge and used in 152 institutions and 39 countries. He is a leading researcher in the field of Sustainability Strategy and has been awarded two knowledge-transfer partnership projects focused on sustainable manufacturing strategy.
Holding a PhD degree in Management from Aston University, he has delivered talks and executive courses that to both global companies and small-medium enterprises. Breno works closely with various senior managers and CEOs advising on strategic decisions through his work leading the Sustainable Growth Hub at Aston.

Vincent Dutot is a full professor of MIS and Academic Director at EM Normandie, Paris, France. He is the founder of CERCAP center. He undertakes research and consultancy in technology adoption, social media, IT strategy and digital transformation. He acts as Associate Editor of IJIM (ABS 2*), Systèmes d’Information et Management (FNEGE 3*) and Cogent Business & Management (ABS 1*).
In addition to the four books on digital, he has published in ranked journals including Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Systèmes d'Information et Management (French Journal of Management Information Systems), International Journal of Information Management, The Journal of Technology Transfer, Psychology & Marketing or European Journal of Innovation Management. He has guest edited several special issues on digital transformation. He was named in the top 2% worldwide most cited scholars (Stanford - 2023)
Active as a consultant, lecturer, and trainer for nearly 15 years, he leads SMEs (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises), large firms or public institutions in their digital transformation.

Claudio Vitari is a full professor of Information Systems at Aix-Marseille University, France, and Editor-in-Chief of Systèmes d'Information et Management (FNEGE 3*). He conducts research and consultancy in Information Systems, Strategic Management, and Ecological Economics. He has published in ranked journals including European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Travel Research, and Ecological Economics.
He holds a Ph.D. jointly from Montpellier University (France) and Carlo Cattaneo University (Italy), and received his French accreditation to supervise research (HDR) from Montpellier University. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and consulting, he actively supports organizations in leveraging digital technologies to align with sustainability goals and strategic transformation.
