The Frugal Economy : Building a Better World with Less 

Navi Radjou is an independent scholar, innovation advisor, and bestselling author. Ranked among the top 50 management thinkers by Thinkers50 since 2021, he explores frugal innovation, regenerative business, and leadership development.

​

He co-authored Jugaad Innovation and Frugal Innovation and recently published The Frugal Economy (Wiley & Thinkers50, 2024). His insights have shaped corporate strategies for IBM, Microsoft, and SAP, and he has served on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Innovation & Entrepreneurship. His work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, The Economist, and Financial Times.

Previously, he was Executive Director of the Centre for India & Global Business at Cambridge Judge Business School and a VP/analyst at Forrester Research. A sought-after keynote speaker, he has addressed audiences at the World Economic Forum, Harvard, and MIT.

Catherine Beaudry

An ecosystem approach to enhance the role of innovation for a sustainable future

Catherine Beaudry is a professor of economics and innovation management at Polytechnique Montréal, where she holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Management and Economics of Innovation. She leads the Partnership for the Organization of Innovation and New Technologies (4POINT0), focusing on developing real-time innovation indicators for decision-makers.

​

With a background in electrical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a master's and PhD in economics from the University of Oxford, her research explores knowledge and innovation ecosystems, science and technology networks, and their impact on organizational performance.

​

A Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences of the Royal Society of Canada, she has received numerous honors, including the Prix Acfas Jacques-Rousseau (2022), the CPSC Public Policy Trailblazer Award (2023), and the Prix d’excellence en recherche et innovation (2024).
