Occupational health and safety (OHS) is a key element of an organization's strategic approach aimed at ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting the long-term well-being of employees. The literature highlights a variety of technologies that can be applied specifically in the context of OHS prevention and ergonomics. These include immersive technologies (IT), online platforms and educational tools, social media, modeling software, gaming technologies, technological toolkits, artificial intelligence (AI), health information technologies, wireless sensor networks, and connected personal protective equipment (PPE). This track invites scholars to submit papers that explore the role of innovative technologies in enhancing workplace ergonomics and improving worker health in the context of Human-Centred Technology Management focusing on the design and implementation of technologies that prioritize the needs, capabilities, and well-being of individuals.
